Join us to learn about Well House and their “Housing-First” model with Audrey Chapman and Danny McGee. They will share how Well House has achieved success by providing the homeless immediate access to a place of their own without requiring treatment or sobriety as a precondition for housing.

Additionally they’ll discuss how residents are supported with treatment options that recognize each individuals own unique needs and challenges to help them work toward recovery, and how a “one size fits all” approach is often a barrier to housing and integration in the community.

Meetings are open to the Public

After the meeting, join us at Vitale’s Restaurant, 834 Leonard NE, Grand Rapids, MI to socialize. View Map

About Audrey Chapman

Board Member, Well House

Audrey Chapman is a member of the Board of Directors at Well House, and the Development and Administration Coordinator, Planned Parenthood of West and Northern Michigan. She is a local non-profit professional, designer, and yoga teacher. Acutely aware of the devastation that chronic homelessness has on a person’s life, she joined the Well House board in 2012 because she saw the simple effectiveness and profound potential of the Housing First model. Now in her second term, Audrey is looking forward to collaborating with many more friends, businesses, and local, state, and national officials to end chronic homelessness in our communities.
