Description:

Join us as Professor John Nader presents his view on the state of the current economy, not just here in the United States, but globally as well. How did we get here? What lessons can be taken from this situation? Professor Nader will discuss what the U.S. economy may look like in the coming years. There are fundamental changes that are often times overlooked in crisis times such as these, yet present many opportunities as well. Discussion will follow the lecture.

About John Nader

Professor of Economics and Management, Grand Valley State University, Davenport University

John Nader is the Professor of Economics and Management at Davenport University and Instructor of Economics at Grand Valley State University. He teaches economics and finance at various schools. He has taught at GVSU, Davenport University, and Ferris State University. Professor Nader does private consulting work for a number of clients including Nike, specializing in economic analysis, strategy and pricing. He has graduate degrees in both economics and finance (University of Toronto) and Undergraduate degrees in economics, and mathematics from Aquinas College. His hobbies include running and reading.
