We come together to give thanks for the blessings we have received. The theme for this year’s Interfaith Celebration is: Gratitude for The Past, Hope for the Future. Prayers, music, sacred writings, reflections and meditation will be woven together from many traditions and welcoming all.
The keynote speakers this year will be Rev. David Baak. Executive Pastor, Westminster Presbyterian Church, and Ghazala Munir, founder of the Interfaith Dialogue Association. Frank Crownover has been invited to represent the Secular Perspective.
Light refreshments featuring foods from various traditions will be shared following the celebration. Childcare will be provided. A free will offering will be taken for the work of God’s Kitchen which serves the Heartside community.

The Grand Rapids Interfaith Thanksgiving Celebration has been celebrated annually since the year 2000. The event features participation from a wide variety of Christian denominations and Jewish, Muslim, Baha’i, Buddhist, Hindu, secular, and inclusive religious communities.
