Café Inquiry is a casual event starting with a short 10-15 minute introduction of the day’s topic followed by open discussion. At 12:00pm we will break for coffee/brunch and a chance to socialize.
This week, Steve Andersen will be leading a discussion of the Sovereign Citizen movement. Steve will spend a few minutes describing this movement followed by a discussion of the balance between individual rights and societal cohesiveness. The links below will help define the movement and give some examples of its rhetoric. Join us for what should be a very interesting conversation.

Members are welcome to propose and schedule a topic which would be of interest toward establishing a secular society based on science, reason, freedom of inquiry, and humanist values. Please contact us if you have a topic that you would like to discuss at an upcoming Café Inquiry.
Café Inquiry (Grand Rapids) meets on the second and fourth Sundays of each month.
